KITO Youth
Students & EcoSafi Production Staff
The youth in our program are our partners, consultants, advisors and employees. They are committed to (1) becoming self-sufficient and productive members of society and (2) building the KITO movement worldwide. KITO youth are employed in our Social enterprise, EcoSafi, but also understand and appreciate that working with KITO is about much more than making money. KITO youth help us design our programs and build our business. They regularly converse with staff about the strategic direction of KITO, help with the development of relevant training curriculums, conduct market research, mentor youth on the streets, fund raise, and develop marketing strategies. The profits generated from KITO’s businesses are re-invested in KITO to help additional street youth work their way off the streets. Thus, the work of the youth in our program helps other street youth escape poverty. We are in this together, and together we are building the street youth movement.
